**~ Paper Bag Album ~**

This is my very first Paper Bag Album.... it has it flaws but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! All the paper is from "My Minds Eye" Christmas stack... which I absolutely LOVE!!! It's adorable and I love how it all goes together!

This instructions are relatively easy.... I started with three brown paper lunch bags..... layed them out flat and as I put each one down I just shifted it to the right about an inch (they kinda looked like stairs when they were laying there).... I started with the bag that was going to be the "middle" pages of the album.... I folded it over.... making one end longer (or shorter, depending on how you look at it!) by about an inch..... I done the same with the next two bags only the second bag was folded with one being longer by about 3 inches and the last bag was about 5 inches..... this causes the "Waterfall" effect when the pages are put together.... you can see what I'm talking about in the first three pictures....

Here you can see what happens when you (or in this case, ME!) get the bright idea that you should sew your album down the center seam.... all that manages to do is perforate the pages.... therefore, causing them to "come apart at the seam!"........ that's why each page is seperate rather than actually being all one piece.... it's OK though because I do really like how this turned out..... Each page has a photo-mat.... I used burnt-umber chalk around the edges and then used my Staz-On Timber Brown ink to "ink" all around.... all of that after using my CM corner rounder.... once all of this was done I ran each mat thru my Cuttle Bug using my Swiss Dots folder.....
By using these brown paper lunch bags.... I was able to have the center of each page "open".... this creates a pocket of sorts that can be used for journaling or even for more pictures.... I used my MS Lacey border punch to "embellish" the end of each center page..... I also chalked each of these on the front & back to they can be used for both the front side and the back side of each page......
For embellishments.... I used everything from old buttons, shaped paper-clips, "skittles", ribbon, staples, snaps & eyelets...... even some "blingy" snowflakes!
I hope you enjoy looking at this as much as I enjoyed making it! It really is a simple project to do and I'm looking forward to making several more as Christmas gifts......
Happy Scrapping!

Nice album Cindy!

Don't you just love that paper? I just got it last weekend at Michael's. They had the matching Bazzil cardstock too. Which of course I had to get too. :)
