**~ Birthday Card ~**

This is going to Richmond, VA this week.... when I was in 4th grade I started to play on a summer softball league and I made friends with a girl from another team.... by the time we got to middle school we had a few classes together and we instantly became friends..... it was a friendship that has with-stood the test of time..... and about a gazillion miles!!! We looked so much a like that a lot of people thought we were sisters! LOL Right out of high-school she left for Italy as an exchange student... being Italian, this was a real treat for her! : ) When she got back from Italy she joined the Peace Corp and traveled to Africa and India..... she loved it! This was right up her alley and I'm sure if they would have let her stay she would have! LOL Anywhooo.... while she was in India she met and married a wonderful young man! They now have a beautiful daughter together..... and about a year ago they moved back to the states! It's been a long time since I have been able to send her a Birthday card and so I was looking forward to making this for her!
I wanted you to be able to see the "pin" I made for this card..... it's such a simple little embellishment! I already have a ton of beads so I really only needed the pins.... I got them at WalMart in the jewelry making section of the craft dept.....
